Neil was a bright student who took multiple of my finance modules. He was a hard working student who paid due attention, worked on assessments creatively but within allocated time, worked well with his team members. He was well respected by his peers and always had a pleasurable work ethics to welcome diverse opinion. I am thrilled to see that he has done well in his career and I look forward to observe further progress in Neil’s career. It was an absolute pleasure sharing the knowledge of finance with him during his undergraduate studies.

Congratulations on the progress you're making with the popular style pieces - you're playing some difficult arrangements really well!
In regards to the exam pieces:
Theme (from Theme and Variations, Sonatina No. 4 in D). A stylish lightness of tone was evidence alongside varied articulation. There is scope for greater evenness in the quaver movement occasionally. Nevertheless, the bright character was embraced.
Oesten: The Echo (No. 14 from Mayflowers, Op. 61) The narrative of the echoes was well communicated with dynamic contrasts. The secure melodic line was conveyed with appropriate legato. There is scope for further solidity in the underlying pulse, although the expressive qualities are mostly well played.
Ian King - Happy Day. A sense of the jazzy mood was embraced though a boldness of tone and vitality of rhythmic energy would have fully encapsulated this. Syncopated rhythms were generally dependable and the reliable pitches contrasted with dynamic and articulation detail for a presentation of the style.
